Quartz Flooring North America began its business in 2010 to design, manufacture, sell and distribute quartz-based resilient vinyl tile flooring principally in North America. Our tile is especially suited for highly-trafficked and heavy static-loaded commercial, institutional, and industrial flooring applications.
We have decided to exit the quartz flooring business. Our prices of new tile designs are being sold at deeply discounted prices and will never again be this affordable--this is a liquidation sale.
Our tile was manufactured in China by an affiliated and vertically integrated company, Knight Performance Flooring, one of only two manufacturers that produce our specific flooring technology in the world. In June 2012, KPF was purchased by a Chinese building materials company, Shanghai More V Composites Company Limited in Shanghai. The new owner will continue to manufacture the same quality tile and many of the tile designs previously made by KPF and sold by us. More V has established a U.S. company and is in the process of supplying inventory in the U.S. and will sell its quartz tile under the brand Rikett. The new U.S. Rikett company will be led by Harry Brownett, formerly the EVP of Quartz Flooring North America.
To assure continuity of tile supply, we have retained over 100,000 square feet of first-quality tile and designs available at prices substantially below Altro Flooring and Procedo Flooring, our two key competitors, and Rikett. We will sell our tile through this website directly to contractors and to independent sales representatives who choose to act as distributors; as well as end users. Also, we will work with Rikett to provide from our inventory when it best serves Rikett’s customers.
A copy of our inventory (the “Current Inventory”}, which you can coordinate with the colors presented in our Online Store, can be found here. We do not offer any tile colors, tile volumes, or tile sizes that do not appear on the website as revised from time to time.
We offer two-tier pricing methods:

The history of our product spans almost 60 years, beginning in Norway in 1952, when Reiber and Tarkett first developed quartz flooring as an alternative to vinyl asbestos tile and carbonates and branded the product "Rikett".
Quartz tile provides exceptional durability, flexibility, and wear resistance. It is homogeneous and thus our colors and marbling reside throughout the tile. Color and marbling remain for the tile life. The tile is “green”. And it has a 3,000 psi static load limit than assures resiliency (to depressions) under heavy foot, machinery, and vehicular traffic and static loads. It's moisture absorption rate is very low. Quartz Flooring might be the most disruptive flooring technology to make its way to market. Because of its eco-friendly and resilient qualities it is the green alternative to VCT. Preferred for high performance applications in schools, hospitals, retail, and commercial buildings it has little to no competition in terms of longevity and durability. More importantly this product replaces the environmentally un-friendly commercial VCT flooring that has proliferated for years. We invite you to visit the pages of our website and consider us for your immediate needs. Together we can bring cleaner and greener products to market and make our planet a better place.
